There is no cookie banner on RoboStudio, and that is deliberate. Under UK and EU law, consent is required before storing anything on your device that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. We only store what is strictly necessary, so there is nothing to consent to. This page explains exactly what that means.

What we set

• Authentication cookies (strictly necessary) — set by our sign-in provider, Clerk, when you sign in. They keep you signed in between page loads and protect against cross-site request forgery. Without them you could not stay logged in. These are set only once you sign in or begin signing in.
• Local browser storage (strictly necessary) — the studio stores your projects and interface preferences in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) so your work survives a reload. This never leaves your device unless you choose to use a cloud instance.

What we do not set

• No advertising or marketing cookies.
• No cross-site or third-party tracking cookies.
• No profiling, fingerprinting or data-broker pixels.
• No analytics cookies — our page analytics and performance measurement, provided by Vercel, is cookieless and does not identify you individually.

Managing them

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in — they are required for an account to work. Clearing your browser storage will delete any locally stored projects that you have not saved to a cloud instance or exported.

If we ever introduce a cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and update this page. Our Privacy Policy explains the wider picture of what data we handle.
